MORRISVILLE, N.C., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Asymchem Laboratories announces the hiring of Dr. Chunhao Zhang as Director of Chemical Development, effective June 1, 2010.  Dr. Zhang is an expert in implementation of chemistry on large scale.  Prior to joining Asymchem, he worked for 10 years for Wyeth at Rouse's Point, NY plant, most recently as Senior Research Scientist in Pilot Plant Process Engineering.  He has additional experience as an R&D chemist at AIM Corporation.  Dr. Zhang earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Saskatchewan and held postdoctoral appointments at several prestigious Canadian universities.  Dr. Zhang will be based at Asymchem's Life Science Center in Tianjin, China.
