13-16 January 2020, San Francisco. Asymchem Laboratories Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the JP Morgan 38th Annual Healthcare Conference. The annual conference is the largest and most informative healthcare investment symposium in the industry. It brings together industry leaders, fast-emerging companies, innovative technology creators and members of the investment community to explore market trends and innovative solutions for the global healthcare landscape. The conference also acts as a platform for global investment opportunities ranging from start-up companies to those with high market cap.
What is now known as the annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference began in 1983 and was hosted by Hambrecht & Quist (H&Q). H&Q was acquired by Chase in 2000 and a year later Chase was acquired by J.P. Morgan. Many now well-known companies such as Genentech, Regeneron, and Gilead first garnered major visibility and attracted investments through the conference. At its infancy, the conference focused on the biotech industry and now encompass the entire healthcare landscape including biotech companies, pharmaceutical firms, medical device companies, and those in the field of information technology, artificial intelligence and big data in healthcare.
More than 9,000 attendees and over 450 companies, including thousands of investors and healthcare companies such as Roche and Pfizer attend the conference. They celebrate the previous year’s achievements and discuss new R&D strategies, future planning, cutting-edge technologies, M&As and future partnerships.
